Helmed by the globally acclaimed, three-Michelin-starred chef Tristin Farmer, Maison Dali offers a unique and approachable Mediterranean-Japanese brasserie experience brimming with personality, dynamic dishes, and a vibrant, art-infused atmosphere inspired by the surreal world of Salvador Dali.
Years in the making, Chef Tristin Farmer, Culinary Director and Partner at Culinary Arts Group, has envisioned a dining destination that seamlessly blends Michelin-caliber cuisine with a relaxed and inviting ambiance. Drawing upon his extensive experience in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, Farmer brings an artistic and contemporary touch to casual dining at Maison Dali. The core philosophy revolves around “simplicity, elevated” – dishes that appear effortlessly understated yet unveil intricate layers of flavor with each exquisite bite.
A Culinary Canvas of Mediterranean & Japanese Fusion:
Born in Dubai, for Dubai, Maison Dali masterfully intertwines the delicate nuances of Japanese ingredients and culinary techniques with the sun-drenched flavors of the Mediterranean. The menu narrates a distinctive culinary story, featuring fermented ingredients, umami-rich profiles, open fire cooking, and an on-site dry-aging program, all while reimagining beloved brasserie classics.
Guests can anticipate inventive creations such as the refreshing King Crab Ceviche with fermented pineapple, trout roe, and tarragon; the deeply flavorful Smoked Lobster Donabe infused with sansho and black truffle; and the perfectly cooked Wood Fired Duck accompanied by hoisin sauce, plum kosho, and a modern Waldorf salad. Adding an interactive element, a flambé trolley will present the luxurious Nishiawa A5 Tenderloin with sauce perigourdine and black truffle, alongside the delightful Honey Toast dessert, a playful nod to classic brasserie artistry.
Plant-Based Perfection: The Vegetarian Menu:
Maison Dali’s vegetarian menu offers a creative and thoughtful approach to plant-based dining, featuring standout dishes like the comforting Potato Mochi with cacio pepe, black truffle, and Vacherin Mont d’Or; the earthy Smoked Shiitake with fermented kohlrabi, wild garlic, and smoked butter; and the satisfying Cauliflower Milanese served with a vibrant pico de gallo, Dali sriracha, and ramson capers.
Artful Beverages: A Sensory Journey:
Curated by Beverage Director Vitor Hugo Lourenco, the beverage program is meticulously designed to harmonize with every dish on the menu. Inspired by the seven global art disciplines – music, sculpture, performance, architecture, literature, film, and painting – the BARTENDER menu offers a sensory experience in every pour. Guests can sip on the floral and elegant Symphony, the mellow and engaging Mist, or the smoky and mysterious Lunar from Act One of the cocktail program.
Maison Dali also takes pride in its innovative non-alcoholic beverage selection, crafted to mirror the depth and complexity of wine and sake while perfectly complementing the cuisine.
Divided into three intriguing categories – Clear (umami-forward and sake-inspired), Light (bright and fruit-forward, akin to white wine), and Dark (deep and rich, reminiscent of red wine) – it provides a sophisticated zero-proof experience. Available by the glass or by carafe, guests can enjoy the French Rose, a zesty da hong pao kombucha; the White Grape, derived from roasted milk bread and delicate jasmine; or the Tomato, a unique blend of smoked cherry and Arabica coffee.
A Surrealist Sanctuary: The Ambiance:
Beyond the exceptional cuisine and beverages, Maison Dali immerses guests in a captivating surrealist world inspired by Salvador Dali, thoughtfully brought to life by YDesign. The space achieves a harmonious balance between whimsy and artistry, featuring striking décor, mood-setting lighting, and playful art elements that converge to create an interactive and highly photogenic dining experience.
An intimate outdoor terrace offers stunning cityscape views, while a private dining room accommodates up to 12 guests, providing an ideal setting for exclusive events and intimate gatherings. Adding to the allure, Maison Dali will soon unveil its late-night secret: the Dali Supper Club.
Inspired by Dubai’s rich tapestry of cultures, Maison Dali is a concept designed for those who appreciate the transformative power of food, artistry, and human connection, promising a dining experience unlike any other in the city.
