Dubai’s MYATA Platinum restaurant lounge achieves world record for largest 3D-printed structure

Dubai, UAE: MYATA Platinum, a restaurant lounge located in Dubai’s City Walk, has been just been awarded the Guinness World Records title for the ‘World’s Largest 3D-Printed Structure (Volume)’. 
This accolade celebrates the venue’s innovative design, showcasing a 13.75 m³ 3D-printed structure created using 158 FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) machines.
The structure features 23 unique 3D-printed elements, including the record-holding piece, seamlessly incorporated into the lounge’s interior and exterior façades, VIP rooms, counters, and planters. 
The largest of these elements spans approximately 100 sqm and includes an integrated entrance, cave, and wall façades, with an 8.6-meter staircase façade. 
The design, inspired by sand canyons, creates a serene and immersive atmosphere, offering guests a unique dining and entertainment experience.
Speaking about the achievement, Ilyas Valiullin, MYATA’s founder, said: “Winning the Guinness World Record for our 3D-printed structure reinforces our dedication to innovation and creating exceptional guest experiences. Printed by by Proto21 and designed by DA Bureau architects, and it signifies a major advancement in integrating 3D-printed elements into a luxury dining and entertainment space.
Arkam, CEO of Proto21 3D Printing LLC, the company responsible for the 3D-printed structure, highlighted the project’s significance, and added: “This project signifies a moment in 3D printing technology. It’s a testament to the possibilities of manufacturing and its impact on design.”
