Dubai, UAE: Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk celebrated its fifth anniversary with a one-night-only La Nuit experience. The collaboration that took place on 29 October united two acclaimed chefs: Michellin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud of Brasserie Boulud and Chef Schilo Van Coevorden of the Asian gem, Taiko Cuisine & Bar.
The evening was designed to be as exquisite as it was unforgettable.
4 Hands, 5 Years, 6 Curated Courses
The six-course meal was designed as a journey between East and West, with both chefs presenting three courses each.
Menu Highlights:
The lunch started at Taiko, where Chef Schilo presented an inventive take on contemporary Asian cuisine:
● Black Garlic Hummus with pine nuts, shiitake crackers and Hokkaido milk bread
● Osetra Caviar with pea flower dashi, silken tofu and hazelnut
● Maguro Al Oud featuring Balfegó tuna and otoro sashimi with Azumino wasabi and oud essence
The experience continued at Brasserie Boulud, where Chef Daniel Boulud presented his special creations for the night:
