Abu Dhabi, UAE: For those in Abu Dhabi seeking a refined yet efficient midday meal, Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori is now serving up a compelling new option.

The award-winning Japanese restaurant, located in Marina Mall, has launched its Business Lunch Menu, offering an elevated culinary experience from Monday to Thursday, 1pm to 5pm, priced at AED79 or AED108 per person. This new offering reinforces Goldfish’s commitment to delivering thoughtful, flavour-forward experiences in the capital.

Since its Abu Dhabi opening in November 2024, Goldfish has quickly become a standout Japanese dining destination.


Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, the first Japanese restaurant from Chef-preneur Akmal Anuar, is a joint venture with Sunset Hospitality Group. The restaurant has consistently earned recognition in the Michelin Guide under the Bib Gourmand category from 2022 to 2025 for its good quality and value.

It was also featured in The World’s 50 Best Discovery in 2023 and listed in the Gault&Millau UAE Guide in 2023, 2024, and 2025, where it achieved a one-toque rating.

A Curated Midday Feast

Crafted by renowned Chef Akmal Anuar, the Business Lunch provides guests with a choice of a three- or four-course meal. Both options begin with a selection of enticing starters, including Lady Finger & Nasu, Yellowtail Carpaccio, or Seaweed Salad with caramel peanuts and miso dressing.

Following the starters, diners can choose from popular maki rolls like the Volcano Maki with crab and salmon topped with chipotle mayo, Tamago Maki, or Spicy Tuna Maki.

For the main course, selections include the signature Wagyu Sliders, combining Wagyu beef and foie gras for a rich bite, Chilean Sea Bass Claypot (slow-cooked to perfection), Octopus with Artichoke Purée and Chimichurri, Charcoal Grilled Yellowtail, or Noodles.

Guests opting for the four-course menu will also enjoy an additional skewer choice before their main course, with options like Lamb Satay, Chicken Adobo, or Shishito Pepper.

To complement the meal, Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori offers a curated selection of house-made mocktails, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Popular choices include the Hana Spritz, the Goldfish Spritz, and the A Ni Spritz.
