Soul Kitchen and CarniStore Are Doing a Tuesday Burger Night in Business Bay

Soul Kitchen already runs one of the more interesting menus in Business Bay. On Tuesday nights in May, they've handed the kitchen over to a butcher for a mouth-watering collaboration.

Soul Kitchen and CarniStore have launched a Tuesday-only burger collaboration in Business Bay. The Carni Diem set menu is AED 175 per person and runs through May.

Meat lovers gather, because CarniStore, the popular Dubai butchery, has teamed up with the Arab-Latin restaurant for a limited Tuesday-night series that launched on 5 May.

Sittings run from 6pm to 11pm, and booking is required. The set menu is called Carni Diem, priced at AED 175 per person and designed by Soul Kitchen's Executive Chef Margarita Vaamonde.

At its centre is a burger built on CarniStore's house patty blend of chuck, short ribs and dry-aged brisket, served with Soul Kitchen fries and chipotle mayo.

Dessert tips into more playful territory: mini churros with salted caramel, crispy bacon bits and cinnamon-labneh ice cream.

It's an unusual combination, but it suits a kitchen that has always sat somewhere between comfort food and creative risk-taking.

"I love creating off-menu dishes, because it allows us to be playful and experimental," says Chef Margarita. "Working with suppliers like CarniStore who are renowned for their premium ingredients makes it easy to push boundaries."

The drinks list has a collaboration of its own. Group Beverage Manager Alexy Haidar created a cocktail called the Fig Situation specifically for the series: fig leaf-infused rum with citrus cordial and coconut-washed oolong tea, finished with a lemon-thyme meringue garnish. It's built to hold its own alongside rich, smoky meat.
