A Gastronomic Milestone: The MICHELIN Guide Makes Its Historic Debut in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: MICHELIN Guide Saudi Arabia completes its first-ever digital launch in the Kingdom, unveiled through a curated three-part digital journey from October to December.

A total of 52 restaurants have earned their place in this year’s selection. This includes 11 establishments honoured with the Bib Gourmand distinction for their unparalleled value and quality.

The MICHELIN Guide arrives in Saudi Arabia, highlighting 52 restaurants across Riyadh, Jeddah, and AlUla. Discover the Bib Gourmand winners and Selected venues defining the Kingdom's luxury F&B scene.

Riyadh: A Fusion of Heritage and Modernity

As the Kingdom’s vibrant capital advances toward Vision 2030, its dynamic dining scene has received significant recognition. Riyadh leads the selection with seven new Bib Gourmand awards, highlighting gastronomic delights that offer high-quality cooking at an accessible price.

Notable Bib Gourmand recipients include Em Sherif Café for its generous Lebanese flavours and Najd Village, where authentic Saudi cuisine is served in charming, traditional interiors. Fi Glbak by Chef Hisham Baeshen offers a unique communal dining experience that represents five Saudi regions. Twenty-six other Riyadh establishments, such as ll Barretto, The Globe, and Takya, have been added to the Selected category, marking them as top-tier destinations for any epicurean traveller.

Jeddah: Red Sea Flavours and Global Flair

Jeddah continues to prove itself as a standout culinary destination, blending its rich maritime heritage with rapid urban growth. Two restaurants in the city have earned the Bib Gourmand distinction. Samia’s Dish delivers nostalgic Hijazi classics, while The Lucky Llama introduces an inventive Nikkei experience, fusing Peruvian and Japanese traditions. Twelve Jeddah venues, including the Fish Market and Myazū, have been officially selected by the Guide for their consistent culinary excellence.

AlUla: Ancient Wonders and Luxury Dining

In the historic landscape of AlUla, the dining scene mirrors a perfect harmony between ancient heritage and modern ambition. Two establishments here have secured Bib Gourmand honours. Joontos offers a Spanish-inspired setting within the Old Town, while Tofareya serves authentic Saudi dishes like kabsa in a charming village house. Finally, three luxury venues, including Harrat and Tama, have joined the selected ranks, offering bespoke experiences amid the stunning desert scenery.
