Al Maryah Island Pauses Public Events for Waterfront Upgrade

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Al Maryah Island is currently undergoing a strategic waterfront enhancement program. Consequently, the island will pause its large-scale public events this year. This includes popular celebrations such as Halloween, National Day, Winter Wonderland, New Year’s Eve, and Chinese New Year. Ultimately, these upgrades aim to enhance the island’s visitor experience. They will also introduce new attractions across its promenades and leisure zones.

While these works are underway, the island continues to offer a vibrant end-of-year line-up. Specifically, partner-led events and activations will proceed. The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi will host these experiences.

Highlights Across Partner Venues

The island’s prestigious partners offer an array of luxurious experiences across the final quarter of the year.

The Galleria Al Maryah Island

The Galleria Al Maryah Island hosts several key events: Master of Flavours runs from 29 October to 9 November, marking Abu Dhabi’s ultimate culinary festival, and features chef’s tables, coffee masterclasses, croissant high tea, and product launches. Then, the National Day Activation runs from 2–3 December, offering traditional activities, a police parade, and family entertainment. Finally, the Winter Wonderland runs from 6–26 December, featuring festive décor, Santa’s Grotto, and seasonal activities for all ages.

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) hosts Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) from 8–11 December. This flagship event brings together global financial leaders, investors, and innovators.

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi has a packed schedule. October Indulgence sees guests enjoying the Pinktober Afternoon Tea and Desserts. Furthermore, the hotel features a Diwali Special Afternoon Tea and Brunch. In addition, Eclipse relaunches its Mexican inspired experience. November Gastronomy sees Café Milano presenting an exclusive Truffle Menu, and Eclipse launching its dedicated Ladies Night and Taco Thursday events. Finally, December Celebrations include a National Day Afternoon Tea multiple Christmas Eve Dinners , and grand New Year’s Eve Celebrations across all signature restaurants.

Rosewood Abu Dhabi

Rosewood Abu Dhabi offers several continuous attractions. Dai Pai Dong hosts the WOK HEI and Yum Cha Brunch, featuring classic Cantonese dishes with a modern twist. Meanwhile, Aqua presents the elegant Rosewood Brunch, which offers a waterfront setting with live stations. Majlis by Pierre Hermé serves Parisian-inspired pastries and signature sweets during Afternoon Tea. Additionally, La Cava hosts Tablao Sundays, where guests pair a flamenco performance with tapas and fine wines.

Festive Season Specials Across the Island

The community can celebrate the end of the year with tailored, high-end experiences. UAE National Day Celebrations offer themed dining, décor, and family activities at partner hotels. Guests can book Thanksgiving Dinners at Rosewood and Four Seasons, which feature classic holiday menus.
