Anantara The Palm Secures Top-Tier Talent: Global Experts Join F&B Leadership on Palm Jumeirah

Dubai, UAE: Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort announces two key additions to its Food and Beverage department. Ruggiero Gissi joins as Chef de Cuisine at The Beach House. Meanwhile, Grecia Kreis has been appointed Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing the resort’s dining operations. Both bring extensive international experience. They share a passion for delivering exceptional gastronomy.

Chef Ruggiero Gissi: Coastal-Inspired Cuisine

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort announces two key F&B appointments: Chef Ruggiero Gissi to The Beach House and Grecia Kreis as Assistant Director, ensuring exceptional gastronomy.

Chef Ruggiero brings over 12 years of global expertise. Therefore, he introduces a creative approach to The Beach House. The venue is renowned for its refined Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and stunning views. Originally from Italy, he built a solid foundation at La Fornarina. He then expanded internationally to Bacco Osteria in Bangkok and Aura Verdant Restaurant in Kazakhstan. Crucially, he played a prominent role in the pre-opening and staff development there.

In Dubai, he assumed the role of Sous Chef at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa in 2021. Later, he became Chef de Cuisine at One&Only Royal Mirage. There, he led nine F&B professionals and crafted seasonal menus. He went on to oversee culinary operations at Conrad Dubai, refining its Italian concept. Most Recently, he spearheaded the launch of Isabella Cucina Italiana.

At The Beach House, Chef Ruggiero will introduce a new chapter of coastal-inspired dining. He will infuse authentic Mediterranean flavours using seasonal produce in the menus. “I am passionate about creating dishes that honour simplicity, freshness, and a deep connection to the sea,” said Chef Ruggiero. “We offer guests memorable encounters in a truly breathtaking setting.”

Grecia Kreis: Elevating the Guest Journey

Grecia Kreis brings over a decade of Food and Beverage expertise. She has built an impressive career across Dubai’s most acclaimed hospitality brands. She began at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in 2011, ahead of its opening. Subsequently, she held leadership roles at Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah. She managed renowned venues such as Sahn Eddar Lobby Lounge and Sky View Bar.

Her career continued at Mina A’Salam, at the helm of Bahri Bar. Following this, she joined Jumeirah Beach Hotel as Restaurant General Manager for Kitchen Connection. She managed over 90 people and served up to 1,700 guests daily. She earned a Highly Commended Manager of the Year nomination in 2019. Furthermore, she contributed to Expo 2020 Dubai as Director of F&B Operations. She also led operations across multiple venues during the pre-opening at Address Beach Resort.
