Hilton Signs First Tapestry Collection Hotel in Saudi Arabia with Al Musbah Group

Dubai, UAE: Hilton has announced the signing of Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in partnership with Al Musbah Group. This marks the debut of the lifestyle Tapestry Collection brand in Saudi Arabia. The hotel expects to open later in 2025. This new signing reinforces Hilton’s expansion in the Kingdom. It adds to its growing presence in a significant religious tourism destination. Hilton remains on track to reach its milestone of 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline across Saudi Arabia.

What is the Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Tapestry Collection by Hilton offers a global portfolio of independent, upscale hotels. Each property possesses an original, vibrant personality. Every hotel’s unique story comes to life through elevated design and locally-inspired food and beverage. This encourages guests to enjoy authentic experiences in destinations worth exploring. While each property shares a unique narrative, all Tapestry Collection hotels provide the reliability that comes with the Hilton name and the benefits of the Hilton Honours programme.

Diyar Ajwa: A Madinah Debut

Diyar Ajwa embodies this concept. Its design narrative draws inspiration from the revered Ajwa date, grown exclusively in Madinah. This adds a rich cultural touch to the guest experience. The hotel boasts a strategic location north of the central Haram area in Madinah. It offers direct pedestrian access and views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi. This ensures a convenient and comfortable stay for guests. The property benefits from strong transport links. These include proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and connectivity via the Haramain High-Speed Rail. This rail links Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah.

The hotel features 221 guest rooms and suites. It also includes an all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a fitness centre.

Mohammed Almusbahi, Director, Al Musbah Group, expressed pride in the partnership. “This hotel will offer visitors and pilgrims an authentic and memorable stay in the heart of Madinah,” he said. “Our continued collaboration with Hilton reflects our shared vision. We support the Kingdom’s hospitality goals and deliver world-class offerings across key cities.”

Carlos Khneisser, Chief Development Officer, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, stated: “We delight in introducing the Tapestry Collection brand to Saudi Arabia. This signing builds on our longstanding relationship. It highlights Hilton’s commitment to growing and diversifying our portfolio. We introduce more of our award-winning brands in key destinations across the Kingdom.”

Hilton currently operates 20 hotels across Saudi Arabia. Another 77 are in the pipeline. This represents a quarter of all branded hotel rooms under construction in the country. This robust pipeline underscores Hilton’s role in shaping the future of hospitality in the Kingdom. It aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
