Dubai, UAE: Maki and Ramen is launching a series of interactive dining events throughout April 2026. This month, the restaurant is introducing a board game inspired sushi experience and a high heat ramen challenge to mark International Ramen Day. These activities are designed to integrate competition and entertainment into the traditional meal service.
Sushi Battleship at Maki and Ramen
From 10 April to 30 April 2026, the restaurant is hosting Sushi Battleship, an interactive concept that turns the dining table into a 3×6 game board. Priced at AED 180, the experience is intended for groups and families. It includes 16 pieces of sushi and 2 nigiri topped with wasabi. Two participants play against each other under the guidance of a game master, calling out coordinates to locate pieces on the board. Guests who document the game on social media and tag the restaurant’s account receive a complimentary ramen for the table. The activity is available daily from 1pm to 11pm.
Firecracker Ramen Level 8 and the Spicy Ramen Challenge
In celebration of International Ramen Day, the venue has launched a limited edition Firecracker Ramen Level 8. Priced at AED 88, the dish is served with a milk based drink and is available from 4 April to 30 April 2026. The restaurant is also running a timed challenge where participants must finish the entire bowl, including the soup, in under 5 minutes. If successful, the cost of the ramen is waived. To complete the full challenge and earn a place on the Wall of Fame, participants must also wait an additional 3 minutes after finishing the meal before consuming the provided drink. The individual who records the fastest time by the end of the month will receive a voucher for a single all you can eat experience.
