Abu Dhabi, UAE: Ocean Basket has arrived in Abu Dhabi, bringing its Mediterranean approach to seafood and its much-loved culture of sharing to the capital for the first time. Following more than a decade of success in Dubai, this opening marks a significant milestone for Ocean Basket in the UAE.

A Menu Built for Togetherness

At its core, Ocean Basket is defined by the spirit of sharing. The menu is intentionally designed for the center of the table, encouraging guests to celebrate a culinary journey together. Quality seafood is the focal point, with a commitment to responsibly sourced fish and shellfish prepared simply to let natural flavors shine.

From crisp calamari and plump prawns to steamed mussels and perfectly grilled fish, each dish reflects the brand’s Mediterranean roots. These are elevated by bright lemon, garlic, olive oil, and the signature sauces that have earned the brand a cult following specifically its famous lemon butter and rich garlic sauce.

A Contemporary Coastal Escape

The Abu Dhabi location debuts a refreshed interior concept developed by the UK-based Harrison design studio. The space is contemporary yet cozy, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The design draws subtle inspiration from the coast, featuring: Soft wood textures that evoke a natural, maritime feel; Curved ceiling lines echoing gentle ocean waves; Sculptural lighting and playful, hand-drawn fish details; An open kitchen that adds energy and transparency, allowing guests to witness the cooking process firsthand.
