Pioneering Luxury: Aman at Sea Attends Inaugural Saudi Arabian Tourism Summit, Tourise

Dubai, UAE: Aman at Sea Aman Group’s ocean travel brand, recently attended the very first Tourise in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of Aman Group’s strategic collaboration with Cruise Saudi and the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Aman at Sea represents a transformative investment in the region’s fast-growing tourism sector. Over three days, the summit saw the industry’s most influential leaders converge to tackle challenges and shape the future of global tourism.

Redefining Ultra-Luxury on the Water

Jonathan L. Wilson President and CEO of Aman at Sea, participated in a key panel discussion. The focus was on how yachts are redefining ultra-luxury travel by evolving into cultural and lifestyle hubs. This approach offers seamless, sustainable, and unrivalled hospitality experiences on the water.

Speaking alongside other trailblazers, the conversation examined how this evolution could balance Aman’s pillars of privacy, exclusivity, and local community engagement with long-term economic impact amid shifting travel trends.

Wilson remarked: “As we approach the launch of Amangati, Tourise provided a vital platform for us to present our vision, allowing us to reveal its true potential alongside an audience of likeminded individuals.” He added that it was “an honour to be invited to join this panel… in a destination whose exponential growth synergises greatly with our brand’s forward-facing philosophy.”

With private charter bookings already being accepted, Amangati will redefine ocean travel, embodying Aman’s signatures of privacy, tranquillity, minimalist design, and unparalleled service.

Each suite boasts a private terrace seamlessly connecting to the sea. Commitment to the Kingdom and Region

The summit’s setting in Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s fastest growing destinations, highlighted its emergence as a global tourism centre. Aman at Sea and Aman Group’s significant investments, in collaboration with Cruise Saudi and the PIF, underscore a shared commitment to the Kingdom and wider region.

Aman’s partnership with the PIF includes not only Aman at Sea, but also three forthcoming properties in AlUla and Janu Diriyah. Janu, Aman Group’s new sibling brand centred around social wellness and contemporary design, has already launched its first property in Tokyo (2024). These developments join a wider pipeline in the region, including Aman Dubai and Janu Dubai, further expanding Aman Group’s footprint across the Middle East in the near future.
