Dubai, UAE: Sole DXB, the region’s contemporary culture festival, will bring a new dimension for dining into the festival setting this year. The event will spotlight Dubai’s most recognised homegrown restaurants alongside a focused selection of international brands. General Release tickets are now available at Platinumlist.
This marks the first time a festival in the region brings elevated dining, independent kitchens and everyday favourites together in one setting.
Elevated Dining: Premium Brands Take Centre Stage
Anchoring the elevated dining space at Sole DXB 2025 is The Maine, the city’s well-known New England brasserie. It will serve its classics alongside exclusive tuna and salmon bowls created specifically for the festival, as well as the return of its famed fried chicken and caviar special. Joining them are other premium concepts, including Varak, known for reinterpreting Middle Eastern desserts through contemporary technique, presenting single-serve cakes. Eleven Green will be serving its signature smashed patties and house sauces; its Bull Burger won the 2022 UAE’s Best Burger competition. Mama Fri is introducing a Mitsu (Japanese for three valleys) inspired menu. The offering will be brought to life through three distinct stations—wok, fry, and steam—a street-food approach that highlights the brand’s playful take on Asian-influenced comfort dishes.
Discovery: Local Heroes and Diverse Kitchens
This year’s line-up also draws from neighbourhood kitchens shaped by the city’s everyday dining culture, supporting independent and culturally rooted food stories. This selection feels authentic to Dubai while creating new moments to discover across the weekend.
The ‘Discovery’ section features Mihbash bringing Emirati street food influences, Soil presenting its plant-forward bowls, Mirzam showcasing handcrafted bean-to-bar chocolate, Pop Culture offering natural ice pops, Club Ocha introducing Thai iced teas, and MyGovindas serving vegetarian dishes rooted in Sattvic cooking. Miss Lily’s is returning as part of this year’s food experience.
Neo Temkai, a Japanese dining concept created by Dubai chefs Neha Mishra and Panchali Mahendra, will be present. They are joined by Camino, Barrad, Pie Haus, Yava x Tonton, Neighbourhood Food Hall, Los Hermanos, Mashawi, Kokum & Kari, and Sandwich Nerds, all contributing to a wider dining landscape reflecting the city’s diverse offering.
