Dubai, UAE: Maki & Ramen has crossed over from the UK to open its first Middle Eastern location at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Village Triangle. Signature Ramen and Sushi

The menu at the Dubai outpost focuses on traditional techniques and bold profiles. Key offerings include the Tan Tan Men, featuring a sesame-infused broth with beef and chilli oil, and the Salmon Teriyaki Roll. For diners seeking heartier options, the Chicken Katsu Curry provides a traditional golden cutlet with rich curry sauce. Distinct to the Dubai location is a dedicated hand roll selection, which includes a Spicy Tuna Hand Roll created specifically for the local market. Each dish is prepared to order, maintaining the consistency that earned the brand the “Deliveroo Restaurant of the Year” title from 2022 to 2025.

Global Expansion and Growth

With eight additional openings planned for early 2026 and a new flagship location set for Soho, London, the group is currently one of the UK’s fastest-growing Japanese dining enterprises. Founder Teddy Lee noted that Dubai’s diverse food culture aligns with the brand’s mission to provide welcoming, everyday dining experiences. The restaurant aims to establish itself as a primary destination for approachable Japanese food within the Jumeirah Village Triangle community and beyond.
