Mövenpick Dubai Creek Opens Following Rebrand of Golden Sands Hotel Creek

Dubai, UAE: Mövenpick Dubai Creek has officially opened following the rebranding of the former Golden Sands Hotel Creek. Located 10 minutes from the airport, the 150-room property marks a significant expansion for Accor, bringing the brand’s total regional presence to 69 hotels.

Dining and Rituals

The hotel incorporates the brand’s culinary traditions, including a daily Chocolate Hour where Swiss chocolate is served alongside coffee. Breakfast options include health-focused shots and juices alongside regional dishes. The dining venues utilise live cooking stations and focus on seasonal ingredients throughout the day. Operational practices at the hotel include a sustainability programme directed at reducing food waste and sourcing products from local suppliers.

Member Offers and Opening Schedule

To mark the rebranding, members of the ALL Accor loyalty programme are eligible for four times the standard reward points for bookings made between 16 February and 12 April 2026. This offer applies to stays completed between 16 February and 9 August 2026. Cluster General Manager Michael Goetz stated that the property focuses on contemporary service models within the historic district, providing access to traditional abra crossings and heritage neighbourhoods.
